This piece of art was inspired by, and dedicated to, The Royal Children’s Hospital where I spent alot of my life between the ages of 13 and 18 yrs old. This involved varying lengthy stays throughout these years, and then continued with having to move on to several other hospitals for further stays, on and off, for many more years to follow. Knowing full well how tough and challenging it can be when having to stay weeks, and sometimes months at a time in hospital, I would like to encourage some brightness, colour and positiveness into the childrens days, lives and families, and also much healing love to all involved in these situations.
As the creator of this art piece I have chosen to donate $10 of each print sold to ‘ The Royal Children’s Hospital ‘ with love and healing thoughts, to help the hospital in any way possible for all the children to have everything they need to make the best possible recovery.
All amounts I donate will be forwarded to The Royal Children’s Hospital , via a bank cheque, made directly to the chosen cause.
This piece of art represents the positiveness and brightness of a beautiful rainbow that has appeared after the rain. Now with the warmth of the sun and the water from the rain, appears all the new growth and blooms from the new life of the beautiful coloured flowers, to fill your mind, your heart and soul with everything bright and beautiful. Also on this journey to recovery is a magical little unicorn to deliver the wonder and magic of all this, and more, over the sparkling mountains, right to you with much love and healing.
